A standard EXP™2 Stem Trap Kit includes (1) EXP™2 Stem Holder and (3) packed stems. Specialized features, patented technology, precision engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing make the new EXP2 Stem Trap an unbeatable choice for ultra high-pressure trapping applications. Its slim architecture allows it to easily fit into crowded instrument compartments or to connect directly to tightly-spaced injection ports. When tightened by hand, the EXP2 Stem Trap seals to 8,700+ psi. Additionally, the product can be wrench tightened to 20,000+ psi (1,400+ bar). The unique packed floating stem installs directly into any 10-32 port and automatically adjusts to provide a perfect ZDV connection. The replacement stems are low volume/ low-dispersion, intended for many repeat uses and is available with various bed volume and custom packing options. This product is recommended for nano flow applications.

Proteomix ion-exchange phases have been innovatively developed for achieving high ion-exchange capacity, a breakthrough technology for non-porous resins. Proteomix packing support is composed of a rigid, spherical, highly cross-linked poly(styrene divinylbenzene) (PS/DVB) non-porous bead with particle size selections of 1.7, 3, 5 and 10 µm. The PS/DVB resin surface is grafted with a highly hydrophilic, neutral polymer thin layer with the thickness in the range of nanometer. The hydrophobic PS/DVB resin surface is totally covered by a hydrophilic coating that eliminates non-specific bindings with biological analytes, leading to high efficiency and high recovery separations for biological molecules.

This unique design connects directly to any injection valve (with 10-32 threads) or in-line with 1/16” tubing for unparalleled convenience and efficiency. Vydac TP was the first range of wide pore media phases developed and became the industry standard for peptide and protein separations. The 300 TP silica gives polypeptide molecules complete access to the interior of the silica pores. Vydac TP is known for long column lifetime and negligible phase leaching. Vydac TP provides reliable protein purifications, scalable from analytical to preparative scale. Vydac 218TP and 238TP are used for small polypeptides of 4-5kDa, enzymatic digest fragments, natural and synthetic peptides and multi-ring compounds. Vydac 208TP is recommended for polypeptides of molecular weight 10-20kDa. Vydac 214TP is recommended for the analysis of glycoproteins, hemoglobin variants, histones, insulin variants and membrane proteins. Vydac 219TP is suitable for polypeptides with aromatic side chains, large hydrophobic proteins, membrane-spanning peptides, lipid peptides and fusion proteins from inclusion bodies.
